  What we need:

  We are seeking an individual with multiple years of restaurant technology experience and a background in product methodology to help us develop products that will simplify our operations experience and improve unit economics.

  You will:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap:
    • Define and execute the product strategy in alignment with Yum! and brand business goals, market trends, and customer needs.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and communicate a clear product roadmap, considering technical feasibility and market dynamics.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and drive product innovation.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement.
    • Establish clear objectives, performance metrics, and accountability measures for the product management team.
  • Product Development and Execution:
    • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery of product releases.
    • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams to manage dependencies, resolve issues, and drive product execution.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with senior management and executives to align product strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Communicate product updates, roadmap, and performance metrics to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
    • Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and customer engagement plans.
  • Customer Focus and Market Insights:
    • Deeply understand customer needs through market research, user feedback, and data analysis.
    • Advocate for the customer throughout the product development process, ensuring user-centric design and customer satisfaction.
    • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify opportunities and make data-driven product decisions.

  You have:

  • Skills:
    • Strong oral and written communication skills; Technical writing experience a plus (i.e. writing user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria)
    • Ability to develop productive working relationships with both technical and non-technical partners
    • Strong understanding of customer needs and business strategy
    • Ability to use analysis to prioritize business value
    • Ability to balance good design with data-driven decision making
    • Ability to build product roadmaps, run meetings and drive agenda
    • Self-disciplined Get Stuff Done approach to work
    • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership decision making

  • Background:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, data science or business administration; MBA a plus.
    • 8+ years proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a senior or principal role.
    • Strong track record of successfully delivering complex products to market.
    • Deep understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Excellent strategic thinking and ability to translate high-level vision into actionable plans.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
    • Experience working in an agile development environment.
    • Familiarity with restaurant management technology solutions and knowledge of emerging trends and technologies.
    • Experience building SaaS products

  Salary Range: $139,000 to $179,850 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.

  Irvine, California - Salary Range: $153,200 to $198,330 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
