What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead multiple scrum teams, providing technical direction and ensuring collaboration
- Oversee the design and development of complex systems utilizing microservices architecture on Azure
- Advocate for Agile methodologies and establish SDLC processes emphasizing CI/CD and test automation
- Guide teams in building RESTful services and integrate third-party services securely
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and mentor team leads and developers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years managing multiple engineering teams
- Strong expertise in Microsoft .NET, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python
- Deep understanding of Azure services, including PaaS and IaaS
- Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party APIs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- In-depth knowledge of microservices principles and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Demonstrated expertise in software design patterns and methodologies, including BDD and TDD
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Proven management experience in a cloud-focused, microservices-driven environment
