- Be the commercial lead for your brands—owning trade strategy, performance insights, and customer-level execution to meet revenue and profit targets.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category Management, and Supply Chain to build and align on holistic strategies that balance company priorities with customer realities.
- Lead the promotional forecast from the ground up, identifying volume-driving opportunities and influencing base planning based on pricing, assortment, distribution changes, and in-market trends.
- Turn insights into impact by analyzing consumption and competitive activity to optimize promotional planning and elevate forecast accuracy.
- Shape the long-term brand plan alongside Marketing, ensuring customer and category dynamics are embedded in strategic direction and annual operating plans.
- Create compelling selling stories that empower the Sales team and bring brand strategies to life at retail—complete with channel-specific tactics and clear priorities by customer.
- Steer the 4Ps across your portfolio, including price-pack architecture, trade tactics, distribution strategy, and promotional cadence to unlock white space opportunities.
- Optimize trade investment, partnering with Finance and Sales to evaluate ROI, hit budget targets, and continuously improve performance.
- Track KPIs and performance metrics, creating an open feedback loop to adjust plans and close gaps where needed.
- Support innovation launches, contributing to commercialization plans, forecasting distribution and velocity targets, and ensuring a successful sell-in and in-market execution.
- Experience: 7+ years experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, or Brand within the CPG industry. Experience in Finance is a plus if combined with the one of the previous three. Having worked with multiple large strategic retailers and trade management systems is strongly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, strong analytical and strategic thinking, and a passion for turning strategy into execution.
- Leadership: You’re a cross-functional influencer, able to build consensus without direct authority, lead multiple projects with tight timelines, and navigate complexity with a solutions-first mindset.
