      We are currently seeking a Sr. Paint Process Engineer who will be responsible for Engineering & Process within the Paint Department.

      The successful candidate must be able to communicate cross-functionally and coordinate trials and improvements with the manufacturing, design staff, and product engineers.

      You Will:
      • Experience: Fanuc Automation, PT/ED, Sealer, Topcoat, Mixroom, Reprocess.
      • Lead color optimization and appearance improvements.
      • Lead new process development, new vehicle launches process and support production operations.
      • The Sr. Process Engineers that will support paint manufacturing/production in both operations and improvements.
      • Develop processes and document/own PCP’s for the respective area.
      • Create Bill of Process, and improve quality, through-put to ensure production volume capacity.
      • Lead the interface for paint process validation/support the development of equipment.
      • Focus on future process strategy for manufacturing.
      • Collaborate with production, materials, maintenance and launch teams to effectively develop processes that meet quality and throughput requirements.
      • Work cross-functionally with all departments.
      • Flexible to work required hours and all shifts.


      You Bring:
      • 5+ years of relevant experience in OEM Automotive Paint Process
      • Excellent problem-solving skills.
      • Outstanding communication, documentation and presentation skills.
      • Experience in projects to meet targets/deadlines.
      • B.S. Engineering Degree (Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar) or equivalent Experience.
