Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Nashville office, focusing on commercial and federal projects. This role requires extensive experience in mechanical systems design, project management, and client interaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to manage engineering teams, and a passion for sustainable design.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise mechanical engineering teams, ensuring projects meet time, quality, and communication commitments.
• Manage the total mechanical systems design for commercial and federal projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and design standards.
• Work directly with clients to establish project schedules, set expectations, and address specific project needs.
• Assist in business development efforts, including preparing proposals, identifying prospective clients, and maintaining client relationships.
• Oversee project documentation, including RFP responses, project write-ups, and resumes.
• Monitor construction progress on-site to ensure adherence to contract documents and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• P.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in design/engineering consulting, with a focus on commercial and federal projects.
• Proficiency in Revit is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management and team leadership experience.
