Lead a high-performance finance team through strategic hiring, mentoring, and continuous development—ensuring alignment with business goals, seamless execution of workflows, and a culture of accountability and excellence.
Own and optimize the full financial planning cycle—design, build, and manage complex budget and forecast models using advanced Excel functions, Power BI, and financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, SAP) to support executive decision-making and company-wide financial alignment.
Partner cross-functionally to shape Nissan Canada’s financial future, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Captive Finance Division, and Parts to develop holistic forecasts, validate business cases (including ROI modeling), and monitor budget performance with variance and trend analyses.
Responsible for overseeing the company's fixed cost management, from developing budget to identify areas for optimization and implement strategies for cost reduction, to track and report to senior management ensuring alignment financial objectives are met.
Elevate finance’s strategic impact by driving process improvements and automation in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting through collaboration with NNA/NML counterparts and functional partners (Accounting, HR, IS, etc.), ensuring data integrity and operational excellence.
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in corporate finance, budgeting, and business planning. CPA designation is an asset.
Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis, with strong proficiency in Excel, SAP (or equivalent ERP systems), and business intelligence tools.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate complex financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Proven leadership skills, including team management, performance development, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across business units and global partners.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a track record of driving process improvements and influencing high-level decision-making.
