      The Target Enterprise Services (TES) organization is close to the action—whether with guests or Target team members. TES comprises several key and high-visibility areas that elevate and nurture Target’s distinctive reputation including: guest and team member service centers empowered by comprehensive service delivery strategies; payment product design programs that manage and grow loyalty, frequency and other marketing programs for all payment capabilities (RedCard, Target GiftCards third party cards, etc.); and bank program and included credit risk and compliance functions, along with accounting and financial operations and fraud prevention.       As a Senior Payment Consultant, you will lead payment acceptance processing components and complete analysis to guide strategic decisions. You will learn and become an expert on Payment Acceptance changes that impact consolidated financial results, and work with Product and Technology teams, as well as external partners, to problem solve and prioritize payment changes. You will provide decision making support for strategic initiatives and special projects. You will manage projects ad-hoc to further Payment Acceptance priorities. You will work with external acquiring partners to support projects, maintain compliance, and reduce expense. You are able to lead horizontally, influencing partners to achieve business goals.

      About you:

      • B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent experience
      • Minimum 3+ years business experience (payment experience preferred)
      • Proven ability to work with business needs, technology and compliance at both a strategic and tactical level
      • Track record of working independently and productively in highly ambiguous situations
      • Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
      • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
      • Experience in collaborating with others and leading virtual project teams
      • Demonstrates curiosity, courage, initiative and accountability
      • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively, both within own team and across teams
      • Excel and or SQL knowledge

      This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as 'Flex for Your Day') work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
