      Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities

      Job Summary

      Supports and executes payroll processing and taxation forms, and maintains employee data. Handles payroll questions and completes other variable tasks necessary for monitoring the payroll process. Maintains vacation, sick leave and worker's compensation records. Compiles reports on base and premium pay, and posts entries to journals and ledgers. Researches and produces special reports as needed.

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Ensures compliance to internal controls and adheres to company polices relating to processing of wages and paid time off
      • Processes payroll accurately using appropriate software to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
      • Manages time and attendance, and processes all adjustments, wage garnishments, and exceptions as they arise
      • Prepares and reviews manual checks and off-cycle payrolls for accuracy
      • Provides support to employees for any concerns regarding payroll and taxes, and troubleshoots all inquiries
      • Performs other duties as assigned


      Required Skills / Capabilities

      Required Skills / Capabilities

      • Working knowledge of accounting principles and payroll-related journal entries
      • Able to efficiently manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deadlines
      • Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel
      • Strong working knowledge of FLSA, payroll practices and multi-state labor & compliance guidelines


      Education and Experience

      Education and Experience

      • Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience
      • High school diploma or equivalent required
      • Ultipro/UKG, SAP or similar ERP experience preferred

      Travel and/or Physical Requirements

      Salary Range: $42,750 - $71,250



      For roles that require access to hospital facilities, must be eligible for and maintain credentials at all required hospitals, including meeting any applicable physical requirements or vaccination requirements (including the COVID-19 vaccine, as applicable).
