      NXP’s Automotive business unit offers sensor and processing technology that drives all aspects of the secure connected cars of today and the autonomous cars of tomorrow.

      Job Summary:

      - Provide technical innovation and leadership to power management IC developments.
      - This position is in charge of translating a specification into an electrical schematic by using existing components of the technology (MOSFET, bipolar, resistors, capacitors...). Interface with customers to understand the need of the function. Generate schematics and simulate it against all sources of variations. Work with layout engineers to create and validate the layout. Once the first prototype available, measure the performance, and support during the qualification phases. Redesign until the product meets specifications and fits the application.
      - Interact with global customers, design partners, product engineer, packaging, program management, test, quality, and business teams.
      - Must have strong expertise in analog design theory and device physics and be capable of applying these to original and novel techniques that provide significant value.
      - Leading efforts to improve productivity and assure quality of design efforts.
      - Transistor level circuit design: Mixed signal IC top level architecture design, circuit concept and topology selection, device sizing, pre- and post-layout circuit simulation, design reviews and documentation, analog layout guidance, and other cell design activities.
      - Provide technical training, write articles for technical publications and conferences, and provide email and phone support for assigned products.
      - Design analog mixed signal power ICs for automotive and power management applications that may include system definition, IC architecture, circuit design, simulation and layout. All aspects require good engineering skills together with analysis, creativity, collaboration and customer interaction.
      Other desirable skills are a working understanding of ESD and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) techniques and testing procedures; experience with mixed-signal design tools similar to VerilogAMS is a plus.

      Job Qualifications:

      · 10+ years of experience in Analog/Power Management IC Design

      · BSEE is a requirement. MSEE or PhD. is a plus.
