      Our Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Senior Principal Logistics Management Analyst to join our growing team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

      You will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Lifecycle Modernization and Sustainment Solutions (LSMS) team. LSMS provides sustainment support for the US Air Force B-1 & B-2 Bomber, E-3 Sentry, Airborne Warning and Control System, and numerous other Government platforms. Our team members complete systems modernization and sustainment projects via engineering, and logistics solutions to meet warfighter requirements.

      The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs within the Oklahoma City Aircraft Engineering, Design, Integration and Sustainment (AEDIS) IPT. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new business and expanding business with the current customers and establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems and obtaining solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

      Your Responsibilities Include:

      • Thorough understanding of aircraft systems to include, propulsion, avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electro/environmental, aero-repair, etc.

      • Research, compile, correctly organize, and interpret engineering data related to various military aircraft and equipment

      • Analyze and determine correct parent-child relationships between part numbers associated with various military aircraft and equipment

      • Effectively identify and manage critical path(s), constraints, and mitigation strategies related to complex workflow processes, and Contract execution

      • Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks

      • Practices effective communication between coworkers, supervisors, and Customers as necessary

      • Correctly interprets engineering drawing data sets to determine most recent revisions, applicability of Notes between sheets, and Next Higher Assembly relationships

      • Correctly identifies Air Force Technical Order (TO) numbers related to end items; correctly associates Usable-on-Codes shown in Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) TOs, and understands the relationships between engineering drawings, IPB data, and D200F data

      • Works with multiple teams and cross-functional departments

      • Understands data base system functionality, basic computer coding language, and the relationship between work-flow requirements and data entry/output requirements

      • Compiles reports, plans and presentations for project leaders

      • Assists with hosting meetings, conferences, and technical discussions

      Basic Qualifications:

      • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience; Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience; An additional 4 years of direct relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement

      • Expert knowledge of the following: US Air Force, Aircraft Depot/Flightline maintenance concepts, Air Force, D200F, Applications, Programs, and Indentures system

      • A working understanding of US Air Force, aircraft supply processes/systems

      • Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) secret security clearance

      • High user knowledge-level of CITIS, JEDMICS, LIMS-EV, IHS Haystack Gold

      • Ability to obtain/maintain access to work on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

      • High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher)

      • Expert knowledge of B-2 aircraft maintenance/sustainment procedures

      • Significant experience in military, government, commercial aerospace industry (e.g. aviation/equipment maintenance, aircraft operations, or commercial industrial technology companies)

      • Experience with reading and understanding technical data (e.g., Technical Orders, Engineering Drawings, Parts Lists, Bills of Material, Engineering Specifications, etc.)

      • A working understanding of government aircraft maintenance and supply processes/system

      • Extensive experience, thorough understanding, and ability to mine, analyze, sort, and filter, data, and information from Government data

      • Expert level knowledge of US Air Force, aircraft maintenance shop-processes, workflow, and quality assurance requirements

      • Excellent organizational abilities, leadership experience, and oral and written communication skills

      Salary Range: $79,600.00 - $119,400.00

      The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

      Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
