Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of project management experience and/or experience in a production or operations environment, a Master's Degree with 6 years of project management experience and/or experience in a production or operations environment or a PhD with 4 years of project management experience and/or experience in a production or operations environment
Proficiency in MS Project and MS Excel
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate or similar
Aerospace and/or Defense industry Experience
Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing / Assembly line setting

This position will be located in Palmdale, CA Center of Excellence where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Mission Assurance Team working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.
This position is based out of Palmdale, CA however the position may consider applicants who can work remotely with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
