Are you passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and have a love for toys and games? The Amazon Toys & Entertainment team is seeking a data-driven Senior Product Manager to lead our Customer Insights & Experience initiatives. In this role, you'll shape how millions of customers discover and shop for toys on Amazon, combining deep analytical expertise with strategic product management to drive customer-centric innovations.
As the Senior Product Manager, you'll own the end-to-end research process and product development cycle. You'll leverage data analytics, market research, and customer insights to identify opportunities, develop strategic roadmaps, and work cross-functionally to bring solutions to life. Your ability to synthesize complex data, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities will be key to your success.
To excel in this role, you'll need a blend of analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and product management expertise. You'll work autonomously, make data-driven decisions, and become an expert in developing and deploying customer-centric strategies across the Toys & Games ecosystem. Your ability to manage complex cross-functional projects, juggle multiple competing priorities, and influence diverse stakeholders will be crucial to your success.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you'll lead research initiatives, develop customer segmentation strategies, and translate insights into actionable product improvements. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance the entire customer journey, from discovery to purchase.
• Lead internal research, market research, and customer segmentation initiatives
• Design and execute customer research studies
• Synthesize data to drive actionable recommendations
• Develop and own product roadmaps aligned with business goals
• Partner with technical teams to implement product improvements
• Manage product development lifecycle from conception to launch
• Create business cases to influence stakeholders
• Collaborate with enterprise marketing teams, business intelligence, tech teams, and vendor managers
• Define and track KPIs to measure impact
• Develop dashboards for product performance and customer insights
• Analyze data to identify improvement areas and opportunities
• Foster customer obsession and data-driven decision making
• Manage research vendor relationships

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience in areas such as market research, statistics, finance or qualitative/quantitative research
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Knowledge of key customer experience metrics and methodology (e.g., NPS)
- Experience with customer segmentation and journey mapping
- Bachelor's degree- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- SQL proficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
