- Lead the portfolio and set the strategic and operating plan for Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) & Social Security Administration (SSA).
- Perform financial management with profit and loss responsibility for the account, with the responsibility to meet or exceed financial targets.
- Provide customer and technical oversight of the portfolio, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
- Drive growth – in collaboration with the Business Area, Sector, and Division resources; must deliver a strong book-to-bill, re-compete wins, and YoY new business growth.
- Ensure alignment with Business Area, Sector and Division, and Company strategy and objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, science, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of related experience leading federal programs and/or growing the business.
- Experience leading portfolios and P&L of $20M or greater.
- Proven experience driving organic and new business growth, including serving as a lead on large-scale new business pursuits.
- Strong understanding of IT services.
- Experience effectively engaging with C-suite leadership and direct client relationship management.
- Experience successfully managing teams, employee performance and career development.
- MPH or MHA degree is a plus.
- Experience serving the broader HHS federal market.
- Significant proposal preparation and costing/pricing analysis skill.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant corporate and government regulations and standards.
- Ability to coordinate, manage, and supervise the activities related to Account operations and strategy.
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Ability to motivating teams to perform exceptionally over long stretches of time and in challenging situations.
- Ability to communicate exceptionally, including customer and board-level briefings.

GDIT is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to support the critical missions for Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) & Social Security Administration (SSA).
Candidates should be local to the DC, MD, VA area and able to perform customer visits twice per week.
This role provides a unique opportunity to support HHS customers; to lead and ensure excellent performance of our diversified IT and mission portfolio; and partner with our Business Development, Capture and Solution teams to grow the business and ensure we retain and attract exceptional talent.
As the senior leader , you will set the strategic direction while aligning with the broader Business Area, Sector and Division strategies to ensure we exceed the needs and expectations of our customer, employees, and business.
