      Position Description

      The Sr. Project Manager provides facilitation and guidance to multidisciplinary functional roles and teams responsible for implementation tasks and planning of new programs and services.

      This position serves as the primary client-facing lead and ensures all cross-functional team members deliver solutions/programs that meet all internal McKesson requirements, while exceeding customer expectations for operational excellence and program stakeholder satisfaction. This position is also responsible monitoring and directing other teams on the project to ensure the implementation methodology is followed and success is achieved.

      This position must be able to manage projects at high level as well be down in the detail at the task level. This individual must be able to collaborate with multiple partners in remote locations to ensure a thorough understanding of the end goal. They must drive the team to completion of project tasks and are responsible for identifying risks along with appropriate mitigation strategies. This role operates with management oversight but is expected to be self-directed.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Program Implementation

      · Serves as single point-of-contact for our customer(s) throughout implementation

      · Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all implementation program design, build, and launch activities

      · Facilitates and oversees internal cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables and timelines

      · Leads weekly status meeting and facilitates customer-facing working sessions with the ability to take thorough and accurate notes with quick turn around communication of the outcome

      · Keep both internal and external customers up to date on the implementation progress by utilizing the standard implementation documentation and delegate the task when appropriate

      · Proactively identifies changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external clients to reassess and amend the scope of work requirement, budget, and timeline

      · Conduct proper hand off to on-going Customer Management team when appropriate

      · Coordinate and partnership with Project Management team members if applicable to ensure project meetings are effectively planned and organized to include cross-functional project teams as required to meet program deliverable and milestone

      · Manages conflict resolution to ensure successful outcomes

      · Negotiates timeline and resource requirements within each functional area maintaining the overall project objective and timeline

      · Creation and management of Implementation tools both new and existing

      · Assist with training Implementation Team members

      · Present to leadership and peers within the business using the appropriate tools for the audience

      · Serve as alternate to represent the Implementation team as needed

      · Maintain the Implementation Suite of tools, documents, templates within team share folders

      Financial Management

      Facilitate and lead all customer-facing program change requests throughout the implementation process obtaining incremental revenue when possible for program modifications outside the scope of the customer engagement

      Customer Business Solutions/Product and Design Consultant

      · Provides support to business development team in sales process, including customer calls and presentations

      · Supports business strategy resource(s) in transition of new program service offerings or product(s) into the business Partners with stakeholders to create and identify business requirements for systems and solutions to meet customer needs

      · Contributor to the coordination and development of education, training, and in-service presentations

      · Supports pre-implementation project consulting deliverables and activities related to program design/documentation, including project schedules, RAID documents, meeting minutes, status reporting, etc.

      Typical Minimum Requirements

      · 10+ years’ years of relevant experience implementing large scale programs within healthcare, PBM or distribution

      · 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience required

      · PMP strongly preferred

      · Ability to travel up to 20%

      Critical Skills

      · Proven healthcare client management experience, preferably within with pharmaceutical distribution (3PL) or PBM industry

      · Proficient in the discipline of Project Management and practical working knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma / Agile methodologies

      · Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with new clients to ensure the successful implementation of new programs

      · Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including partner champions and project team members in a timely and consistent manner

      · Ability to provide direction and influence to matrixed, cross-functional teams in managing multiple projects with conflicting priorities and market imposed deadlines

      · Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a self-directed environment to meet critical deliverable dates.

      · Familiarity with Information Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as well as Quality Management System (QMS) processes, Agile and documentation requirements

      As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at CoverMyMeds. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

      Our Base Pay Range for this position

      $92,000 - $153,300
