      LabCorp is seeking a Sr Project Manager that is confident in managing teams and projects, enjoys achieving milestones and is comfortable communicating results to all stakeholders. The Sr. Project manager is accountable for planning, allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.

      Lead a variety of project programs or multiple projects simultaneously to ensure all deadlines are met. Aligns projects with business objectives, constructing detailed work plans, managing teams, achieving milestones and communicates results to stakeholder. Reviews and assesses various courses of action to provide an improved basis for management decisions. This is a multi-discipline title.

      The Sr. Project Manager is accountable for planning, allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. They oversee high priority projects that create the framework of achieving the company’s goals and achieving the vision. A successful candidate will work with teams composed of internal stakeholders and outside vendors as needed to ensure the coordination of the projects are stay within scope and on track.

      He or she will coordinate with departments to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization. Successful Sr. project managers are able to strategically plan, perform risk management and change management.

      They also mentor peers in best practices and execution of projects.

      The schedule for his position will be: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM PST; additional hours as needed

      Location: Hybrid/Remote

      Pay Range: $85,000-$110,500

      Responsibilities

      • Lead project management teams to deliver on projects that span across different areas of the business
      • Determine and define scope and objectives. Break complex projects into simpler tasks and set goals and timeframes
      • Predict resources needed to reach objective and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
      • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
      • Track project costs in order to meet budget
      • Develop and manage detailed project schedule and work plan.
      • Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants
      • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress.
      • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
      • Resolve conflicts between projects and align work down by other project managers and their teams.
      • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
      • Measure performance to identify areas for improvement.
      • Track project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short and long term goals
      • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
      • Create presentations and reports to communicate project status.
      • Review and assess various courses of action to provide improved basis for management decisions
      • Navigate and influence priorities with project teams
      • Travel as needed to support project teams
      • Provides guidance and assistance on a variety of types of projects and range of business issues.
      • Reviews and assesses various courses of action to provide an improved basis for management decisions. This is a multi-discipline title.
      • Map out workflows current state and future state with teams. Be able to visually represent and identify potential gaps.
      • Mentor project manager peers and team members in best practices and execution of projects.

      Requirements

      • 5-10+ years working experience in project management
      • Demonstrated ability to facilitate all areas of the PM lifeycle: Scope/Planning/Execution/Closure and mentor others through process
      • Proven ability to manage large integrated projects across multiple disciplines
      • Advanced skills with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices
      • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
      • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Strong Interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
      • Excellent analytical skills
      • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
      • Problem solving with a keen eye for details
      • PMP or Black Belt certification preferred
      • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and or change management.
      • Financial Acumen
      • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
