      Support the Technical Services team with internal quality and compliance auditing. Verify Preventive Maintenance (PM) process specifications and standards are accurately followed within Universal Studios Hollywood Technical Services. Devise and implement internal audit programs, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance. Schedule and coordinate regulatory and third-party Quality Safety Inspections.

      • In conjunction with the Compliance Manager, oversee the internal technical audit program for all attractions (rides and shows).
      • Develop and communicate an annual Internal Audit Schedule in partnership with all stakeholders.
      • Ensure all venues and processes identified in the yearly planning calendar are audited as outlined in the plan.
      • Coordinate the internal audits and audit closing meetings. Develop and maintain required databases regarding findings and corrective action plans. Monitor completion of corrective action plans.
      • Conduct internal audits and support external audits during non-operational hours when necessary.
      • Develop procedures, training plans, and auditing processes to ensure that the Technical Services department is in compliance with applicable requirements, standards, and codes and regulations.
      • Ensure third party auditors are competent to perform scope of work. Monitor third party auditor performance and follow-up items.
      • Analyze data to identify and communicate organizational trends as a result of the auditing process.
      • Develop relationships throughout the organization to drive change.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.
      • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

      • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical field with 3+ years experience in a Quality role, or a High School degree / GED with minimum of 7 years experience in theme park ride & show maintenance
      • Ability to learn and interpret applicable codes and standards for theme park operations and maintenance, including DOSH, ASTM F24, ANSI, ASME, AWS
      • Strong working knowledge of maintenance and inspection processes
      • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with ability to resolve conflict, conduct interviews and effectively communicate information
      • Ability to work independently under pressure; proactive thinker/self-starter
      • Ability & willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays with short notice
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

      Desired Characteristics

      • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems in a regulated environment
      • Current relevant certifications from ASQ, NAARSO, AIMS, or equivalent
      • Working knowledge of codes and standards for theme park operations and maintenance, including DOSH, ASTM F24, ANSI, ASME, AWS
      • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees and management, and willingness to give assistance to co-workers in other areas. Strong team player
      • Experience working in a union environment
