The Medtronic Diabetes Operating Unit is on a mission to deliver the power of our Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) algorithm and its proven benefits and to give people with Diabetes a choice in the treatment approach that is right for them. To that end, we are acquiring a patch pump company–EOFlow who makes the EOPatch – a tubeless, wearable, and fully disposable insulin delivery device. We are building the team that will integrate the EOPatch with our next-generation sensor and Meal Detection Technology algorithm. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a historic new chapter for Diabetes as we combine EOFlow and Medtronic's technologies to bring a truly new product to market for people living with Diabetes. We are looking for a Senior Quality Test Engineer to be a part of this dynamic and high-impact team.
A Day in the Life
§ Working collaboratively with the R&D and Quality across a global team
§ Taking a leadership role as a design quality verification representative of the team and ensure projects are being executed as per Quality System Regulations, and GxPs.
§ Conducting and moderating Test Plan Reviews, Test Protocol Reviews, Requirements Reviews, and Design Reviews
§ Develops and executes system-level test plans, protocols, and reports.
§ Ensure system meets technical and functional requirements.
§ Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
§ Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate.
§ Review and research technologies and their interaction among system components to establish system performance requirements to be tested.
§ Working closely with stakeholders to establish and support development and testing strategies for the product and system.
§ Supporting completion of milestones
§ Performs other related duties as assigned

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of quality, product development or engineering experience
• OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 0 years of experience
Nice to Have
§ Experience with System Integration Testing or Simulated Use Testing with BLE solutions and mobile applications.
§ Experience with Integrated System comprised of Embedded Software, Application Software, Electro Mechanical Control Systems
§ Experience with System and Software Configuration Management
§ Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
§ Experience with requirements reviews and management through tools such as DOORs and/or PTC Windchill
§ Experience with defect tracking and change management using tools such as JIRA.
§ Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
§ Excellent written and communication skills
§ MS in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
§ Experience in Medical Device/FDA Regulated Industry and compliance with IEC-60601, 62304, 14971, 62366
§ Experience with automated testing (Proficient on Python, C, or C#)
§ Experience with ACE/iAGC/iCGM standards

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
