Duties : Responsible for understanding and tracking key business metrics, for performing standard and ad-hoc analyses, reporting on various call center operations and for overseeing the successful execution of standard business practices within the reporting and analytics team. Coordinate and prioritize multiple project/analysis activities from development to production implementation, including collaboration on topics which cover multiple lines of business. Provide alternative solutions when required by utilizing research, analysis, SQL, Power BI, and problem-solving tools and techniques. Implement and further enhance data review process to find missing or invalid data, trends, anomalies, and/or any loan-level issue that need further review or due diligence. Serve as a business liaison for stakeholders and support personnel to coordinate multiple tasks that need to be accomplished for all activities related to speech analytics and operational reporting. Assist with the activities of analytics team members pertaining to data analysis, data mapping, QC/Validation, project oversight and other routine tasks. Serve as point person for handling difficult and varied department inquires including escalated items requiring prompt attention. Study and evaluate existing department procedures and propose changes as needed to improve overall efficiency / mitigate cost. Remote work permitted within a reasonable commuting distance of the Lewisville, TX office.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

LOCATION: Nationstar Mortgage, LLC d/b/a Mr. Cooper, 2780 Lake Vista Drive, Lewisville, TX 75067

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Supply Chain Management or a closely related quantitative field of study and three (3) years of experience as a Quantitative Analyst, Strategy Analyst or a related role where required experience was gained.

Alternate Experience: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields and three (3) years of stated experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in stated fields and one (1) year of stated experience.

Special Skills: Also requires experience in the following:

• Working with data and completing data analysis activities including with SQL, SSRS, and PowerBI;
• Developing data mining code using alternative solutions (R and Python);
• Upstream and downstream processes in mortgage servicing;
• R and R Studio;
• Python or alternative code to perform in-depth data analysis;
• MS Excel and Access;
• Multi Source Reporting using regression model data and link to performance data; and
• Automation of reporting using Power BI the reporting.
