What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Reconcile claims, including complex claims, for payment from Health Plan Payors
- Manually reconcile claims received by paper EOBs or spreadsheets
- Make calls to Health Plans to check status of claims and request reprocessing if denied in error
- Use Health Plan and TPA websites to check claim status and reconcile claims
- Review and respond to ASHCore logs within 48 hours of assigned date
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma required
- 2 to 3 years of claims processing experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel helpful
- Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Managed Care, HMO, PPO health plan provisions
