This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.

Deliver Customer insights and opportunities through internal and Customer data and Account Manager insights leveraged throughout the sales cycle to achieve revenue targets.
Work seamlessly with Account Managers and the Customer Success Team to deliver and identify revenue opportunities through internal transactional data, third party data, account manager or Customer Success Team insights, cross-functional partners, or a variety of other sources in order to drive account strategies, tactics, contract proposals, and effective presentations
Transform raw data into easily understandable, presentable and actionable findings to identify opportunities and ensure performance, sharing them with sales team partners, Customers, and all levels of management
Use technical skills (SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau, Big Data Concepts) and business knowledge to provide answers to business requests and proactively identify new opportunities
Provide the research and analysis of trends, and the development of new processes, tools, reports, and dashboards to support increased revenue from corporate accounts and greater efficiency within the sales cycle
Investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of data to discover patterns, identify trends, and uncover new predictive indicators
Support strategic decision-making through data analysis and present to senior level management as well as the entire sales department
Develop tailored reports in order to meet business requirements and provide financial analysis to support corporate sales operational and Customer activities
Create and manage work plans to translate business data/reporting needs from concept to delivery
Serve in the role of a mentor to develop analytical and consultative skills within and outside the team
Engage in the development, improvement, and quality control of data sets through conversations with internal and external partners
Partner cross-functionally with technology counterparts to understand Southwest business data structure and flow of data from DB into business/visualization tools then provide guidance and recommendations on best practices
Utilize appropriate data management procedures including privacy standards
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, economics, and their applications
Knowledge of the principles and methods for moving People or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits
Knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services throughout the sales process. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
Skilled in identifying, collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data which may also include turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. To include:
Advanced use of data prep tools (such as Alteryx or similar products)
Advanced use of data visualization software (such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Expert use of SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets with experience using statistical computer languages (Python, R, etc.)
Expert use of Microsoft Excel
Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Ability to clearly articulate complex topics and distilled insights to a variety of audiences, bridging the gap between data and stakeholders
Ability to listen, understand, and communicate ideas via writing, speaking with others, or presenting to a group
Ability to think independently, work autonomously, handle ambiguity, and pivot quickly to solve complex problems and implement solutions
Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events)
Ability to independently transform raw data into clear and actionable insights, clearly communicate and influence others, execute strategies, and adapt for performance across a variety of entities (companies, customers, industries, etc.)
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Experience in Alteryx, Sagemaker , Python, Machine Learning, and DevOps
Expert-level experience, expansive and far-reaching knowledge in
Sales analysis and the transportation industry
Solving ambiguous problems and developing a clear action plan
Working with and developing tools to efficiently utilize large datasets
Independently translating raw data into actionable insights
Influencing stakeholders and leaders to drive change
Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) certification or equivalent
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information
Ability to travel (up to 50%) including overnight stays

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $118,600.00 per year to $131,800.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
