      How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

      Responsibilities include:
      • Pilot trip coverage on all Delta flights while communicating professionally with Chief Pilot Offices (CPOs), Pilots, and administrative personnel
      • Manage all special processes as assigned daily to utilize Pilot resources using cost effective strategies and adherence to all Pilot Work Agreement (PWA) and Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)
      • Administer pilot work rules as they relate to crew member’s schedules
      • Monitor, research, and resolve computer driven alerts to ensure pilots are qualified to work
      • Maintain a working knowledge of applicable FAR and PWA work rules
      • Handle complex problems and issues requiring judgment and interpretation
      • Serve as a resource for crew members and CPOs on scheduling issues
      • Provide a high level of customer service to the internal customer, the pilots, in a fast-paced environment
      • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
      • Embrace diverse people, thinking and style

      What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

      • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
      • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
      • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
      • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
      • Two to three years of related work experience
      • Must be able to perform with a high level of accuracy
      • Must possess strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to all PWA and FAR scheduling work rules
      • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
      • Should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Must be customer service oriented and have strong interpersonal skills
      • (If transferring internally) Must be performing satisfactorily in present position
      • Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.

      What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred
      • Experience in crew scheduling operations strongly preferred
