      Position Purpose:

      This role offers a unique opportunity within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment supported by the resources and stability of a major retailer — The Home Depot — through its acquisition of The Company Store, a 114-year-old, leading online bedding company. The position is responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on SEO and SEM strategies to drive online sales and brand awareness for The Company Store. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, site, and marketing, to successfully launch new products, optimize existing offerings, and execute seasonal campaigns and promotional events. This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to implementing marketing programs that directly impact revenue growth and customer engagement.


      Key Responsibilities:

      • 30% Campaign Planning: Planning and executing marketing plans for organic and paid search. Campaign planning, ongoing optimizations and weekly reporting. Partner with Advertising, Marketing, Merchandising & Operations.
      • 20% Vendor Management: Manage outside vendors and agencies to ensure execution of programs and tactics on time and within budget. Manage projects and the allotment of money to meet budgetary and segment goals.
      • 20% Keyword Research: Perform keyword research in coordination with company business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
      • 20% Manage Spend: Projecting and tracking Return-on-investment (ROI) and sales for initiatives.
      • 10% Coordinate Best Practices: Educate organization regarding organic and paid search marketing programs.

      • This position reports to the Paid Media Sr. Manager.

      Travel Requirements:

      • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


      Physical Requirements:

      • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


      Working Conditions:

      • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
      • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


      Preferred Qualifications:

      • 4-5+ years of hands-on experience in Search Marketing (SEO and/or Paid Search), with a proven track record of driving significant traffic growth, generating high-quality opportunities, and contributing to pipeline and revenue.
      • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with content, demand generation, paid media, and product teams.
      • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
      • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the strategic value and business impact of SEO and/or Paid Search initiatives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO/Paid Search best practices.
      • Expertise in SEM bid strategies and hands-on experience with tools such as SA360, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising etc.
      • Advanced proficiency in SEO tools and automation platforms, including GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
      • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, particularly as they pertain to technical SEO implementation and troubleshooting.
      • Experience with SEO attribution modeling, demonstrating the ability to measure and prove the impact of SEO initiatives on pipeline and revenue.

      • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
