      The Work
      Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown, New Jersey is seeking a full time Senior Software Engineer.
      In this role you will:
      • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (design, code, and test), with a focus on C/C++ and/or Java software development.
      • Leverage software engineering processes and procedures while performing your respective software engineering and verification activities.
      • Have experience and/or knowledge of C/C++ and/or Java, Object Oriented Development.
      • Have ability to obtain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the Secret level

      Desired skills

      • Familiarity and/or experience with the MK41 Vertical Launching System (VLS)
      • Embedded software development experience
      • Knowledge and experience with software configuration processes and tools
      • Prior experience developing software for the United States Government
      • Knowledge and experience with installing and configuring computer test equipment

      Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
