  Sr. Solution Architect (Java/Spring Boot/Microservices/GCP)

  Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Solution Architect with at least 10+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise architecture, microservices, and cloud solutions, with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and modern web technologies such as React JS and Vue JS. The Senior Solution Architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that meet our business needs.

  Roles & Responsibilities:

  Architecture Design:

  · Develop and implement enterprise architecture solutions using TOGAF framework.

  · Design and implement microservices architecture for scalable and resilient applications.

  · Lead the design and development of web applications using Spring Boot, Java 8, Java 11, React JS, and Vue JS.

  Cloud Solutions:

  · Architect and design cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

  · Develop cloud-native applications and migrate existing applications to the cloud.

  Solution Architecture:

  · Define and maintain the overall solution architecture for various projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology standards.

  · Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on best practices, standards, and frameworks.

  Integration:

  · Integrate various systems and applications, including Dynamics AX, to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.

  · Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between different systems.

  Technology Evaluation:

  · Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the technology stack.

  · Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies that can enhance the development process and product quality.

  Collaboration:

  · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and define technical solutions.

  · Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure successful project delivery.

  Required Qualifications:

  · Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.

  · Minimum of 10 + years of experience in software development and architecture.

  · Extensive experience with TOGAF framework and enterprise architecture.

  · Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.

  · Strong background in Java (Java 8 and Java 11) and Spring Boot.

  · Proficiency in modern web technologies such as React JS and Vue JS.

  · Experience with cloud architecture and design, specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  · Knowledge of Dynamics AX integration and architecture.

  · Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  · Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.

  · Proficiency in architectural design tools and modeling languages.

  · Preferred Qualifications:

  · TOGAF certification.

  · Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

  · Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

  · Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
