      Purpose of Role

      The senior EDI analyst plays a crucial role in the expansion of EDI integrations across our growing, global business, which runs SAP’s Fashion Management Solution. The candidate will work closely with our Managed Services Partner, Open Text, to integrate across multiple platforms, including ANSI, EDIFACT, JSON and xml. They will be responsible for the data exchanged between SAP and our external partners, through our Managed Services Partner. This position will guide Open Text’s developers and analysts to efficient mapping solutions that meet our FMS requirements and follow our partners’ guidelines. This position will also work with SAP FMS development teams to make enhancements to SAP, as needed.
      The ideal candidate must demonstrate a desire to deeply understand the business opportunities and solutions and dissect complex processes into clear actionable units.

      Your Impact

      • Work with our Managed Services provider to develop and deploy new EDI solutions, preparing mapping specifications and providing EDI expertise to developers and analysts.
      • Participate in design sessions with functional teammates and translate functional requirements into a technical design.
      • Work with internal Under Armour functional analysts and developers to design and test new EDI processes within SAP.
      • Create and maintain documentation on procedures and processes, solution design of current landscape.
      • Independently drive resolution of issues, develop business knowledge and relationships.
      • Develop and maintain communication links with trading partners, oversee integration of information.
      • Provide guidance and training to junior EDI Analysts, functional EDI Support, as well as external consultants. Occasional end user training to support EDI processes within the business may also be required.
      • Serve as Level 2/3 support for EDI issues Functional EDI users cannot solve. Monitor backend interfaces so that issues can be proactively corrected prior to any business impact.
      • Lead small to mid-sized EDI Project teams.
      • Identify and Reduce EDI errors leading to chargebacks, working with other teammates to implement long term fixes.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience OR typically 9 years of relevant work experience without degree
      • Working knowledge of business software and ERP systems.
      • Proficient to expert knowledge in data level integration using EDI X12 and EDIFACT formats, XML, data mapping, and transformation tools.
      • Hands on experience in SAP IDOC processing. Knowledge of SAP partner profiles, output, and SAP document flow throughout the Order to Cash process.
      • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
      • Experience supporting an international manufacturing and distribution organization.
      • Strong analytical skills at the business process and technical levels.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.
      • Knowledge of integration tools is desirable, not required.

      Base Compensation

      $85,412.00 - $117,441.50 USD

      Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
