- Work closely with the McKesson Project Management, Real Estate, and Facilities teams to lead all sourcing related activities, driving significant value for the business
- Collaborate with Contract and Sourcing Specialists to develop forward looking sourcing strategies in alignment with category strategies working collaboratively to gain insight into the category and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work with Sourcing Specialist to identify leading practices and market intelligence to be shared with functional business leaders.
- Drive collaborations between S&P and Business Units
- Lead sourcing events along with a team that consists of business partners, Category Leads, Sourcing & Contract Specialists; create business case recommendations, and partner with the functional business leaders to make final decisions on suppliers
- Act as liaison between suppliers and McKesson Business Units. Lead Periodic Business Review and Partner meetings with a focus to drive accountability and improve supplier performance
- Work cross functionally with global and regional counterparts
- Provide guidance to Contract and Sourcing Specialists across multiple categories to execute strategic sourcing and support activity
- Provide monthly forecast of projected savings
- Negotiate remediations with suppliers, when necessary
- Develop a thorough knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures

- 8+ years of corporate business experience
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing and category management expertise
- 3+ years of experience in these categories, particularly Construction/Facilities Management
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent reading comprehension and the ability to understand complex contracts
- Strong written and oral communication experience writing agreements and creating SLA’s.
- Presentation experience to large audiences and executive leaders
- Developing presentation materials
- Skilled in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
- Able to work across cultures effectively, valuing diversity within a virtual team
- Track record of performance.
- 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience

Provides sourcing and category management for Construction & Facilities (Facilities Management, Construction, Utilities, and Furniture) . Responsible for establishing sourcing strategies and leading sourcing events at a global and / or regional level. Developing and implementing category strategies in partnership with sourcing and contract specialists. In addition, this person is accountable for partnering closely with business unit and functional leaders to identify opportunities, align on sourcing and category strategies, and deliver tangible results.

Our Base Pay Range for this position
