- Deliver operational excellence and increase product availability
- Develops forecasts targeting inventory alignment with future product demands based on analytical, marketing, and sales data .
- Communicate weekly stock alert (Low stock & Stock out) to local departments
- Control and analyze defined KPI's for operational processes
- Manage operational issues with Suppliers
- Monitor and analyze stock cover levels in the MDC's and FDC's, identify areas of improvement and take or propose appropriate measures.
- Manage Events in close relationship with local departments (Limited editions, new products launches, discontinuation of products, promotions or special events), making necessary adjustments to DC's Supply Portfolio, and stock levels.
- Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location.
- Collaborate with the DSP in the development of assortment plans.
- Reviews the stock level of the full network of DC's to pro-actively look for solutions in case of deviations.
- Determine key issues with volume variance that may impact supply and highlight to Planners by - challenging existing Logistics and Supply Planning processes.
- Monitors all low stock, end of life, and limited-edition SKUs in the network, and ensures all low stock SKUs are available to promise customer
- Bad goods risk mitigation
- Develop continuous excellence mindset across functions.
- Provide the relevant predefined input to all key meetings (e.g. Monthly Forecasts Review, weekly and monthly operational meetings).
- Control and analyze defined KPI's for operational processes.
- Maintain a knowledge base of the constraints that influence the inter-market supply operations.
- Develop ad-hoc reports that allows for further analysis.
- Lead analytical reporting.
- Lead, develop action plans and organize to conclusion delegated projects.
- Develop and monitor KPI's on transfers, stock cover reports, and expiry risk.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to assist with development of Demand Forecast.
- Defines, analyzes, and evaluates existing business functions and processes and makes recommendations to management on opportunities for process improvements.
- Budget cost control - distribution costs related to movement of goods between main distribution and forwarding distribution.
- Influencing planners to adjust production and dispatch plans targeting optimal spread and cost reduction
- Bachelor’s degree required; related fields - Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering preferred.
- 4+ years of planning experience in Supply Chain strongly preferred
- Inventory management & Forecasting experience required
- Experience with production planning; MRP experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Experience working in a retail/manufacturing environment preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong ability to be agile in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work well under pressure, quick decision making and have a solutions-oriented approach
- Strong expertise in influencing others across teams
- Experience working with highly collaborative teams

Position Summary:
As the Senior Specialist, Demand Planner, you will ensure that goods are available to meet the customer demand through inventory management between network of distribution centers with the highest accuracy and minimal cost. You will also be responsible for transfer and inbound prioritization flow, analyzing statistical data, as well as supply pipeline reporting. You will support with inventory spread assessments and mitigation activities, propose and implement solutions to improve accuracy, successfully communicate changes and inventory estimations to management.

The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
