      Position Summary:
      Mathematica is looking for a Sr. Specialist, Library and Information services to join our team on an on-call basis! As a Sr. Specialist, Library and Information Services you will develop, execute, and assist with searches and search strategies to support the company’s clients, partners, and project deliverables.

      Hours will vary from month to month, depending on project need, but are anticipated to range from 20 to 35 hours per month, with potentially higher levels of demand during the months of January-March and in October.

      Core Responsibilities:
      • Conduct high-level research and complex literature searches in support of narrative and systematic literature reviews, environmental scans, and citation processing for projects and proposals. Support business unit staff with development of search strategies.
      • Develop and execute search strategies that are comprehensive and replicable, leveraging peer-reviewed articles, grey literature, white papers, and other diverse sources, as appropriate.
      • Demonstrated expertise engaging a range of internal and external stakeholders in the health, human services, and international policy research fields.
      • Provide technical assistance to support access and positive user experience with electronic resources; train project teams in best practices and develop and/or update resource documentation on searching literature and finding full texts (i.e, tipsheets or tutorial videos), as needed.
      • Provide assistance and access to information for proposals, leveraging Mathematica’s database and journal subscriptions, as well as other relevant information sources.
