      What Pharmacy Support contributes to Cardinal Health

      Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.

      Job Description Summary

      To provide support in decision making analysis for any changes in the CHPC contract portfolio and ensure that pricing and product information of these contracts are accurately communicated to all wholesalers, vendors and pharmacies. To work directly with manufacturers and wholesalers to ensure pricing and products are updated in all systems. To perform pricing audits and resolve any discrepancies between systems. To facilitate needs with internal systems for all members including auditing functions. Maintain all contract updates and work directly with Directors on contracts. To serve as the primary resource and point of contact for all contract related issues including but not limited to distribution of monthly updates.

      This is a remote/work from home opportunity with occasional onsite meetings located at our distribution facility in Stafford, TX. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.

      Responsibilities:

      • Manage a high volume of contract documents through their lifecycle post execution and ongoing maintenance.
      • To communicate directly with manufacturers and Wholesalers to ensure contracts are updated and in place.
      • Collect, maintain, and report contract details obtained from contractual documents and develop standard reporting to support Contract Directors.
      • Maintain internal Contract pricing database with accurate contract pricing, fees and applicable information.
      • Facilitate the execution and monitoring of new and/or existing contracts and amendments.
      • Coordinate needs with internal systems for all pricing and fees including auditing analysis
      • Work directly with Contract Directors to assist in the administration of contracts and in resolving pricing issues.
      • Act as a point of contact for the GPO team and other internal stakeholders; providing support and exceptional communication in regards to contract documents, details, and reporting.
      • Adhoc projects as needed

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience.
      • 2-4 years experience
      • Proficient in Microsoft office, Intermediate skills in SAP
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
