      About the Role

      The Sr Specialist, Technical Services (Footwear) - supports Gap Inc.'s brand (Gap/GO, Old Navy, Athleta, Banana Republic/BRFS) - is responsible to implement and approve full size grading (FSG), Technical Style File, ensuring the proper grading and physical samples are properly done in friendly way of production, safety, proper fitting and costing to be under GAP protocol after the fitting sample been approved. Working with the Technical footwear team, Product Integrity, Quality, Merchandising, Vendors, Factories Technical departments in accordance with Gap Inc.'s value-based behaviors

      What You'll Do

      • Works proactively with PD, Brand designers, PI and GAP Technical team, Vendors and Factory Technical department to ensure product quality is built from fitting sample development to shipment.

      • Full size Grading (FSG)

      • Technical Style File (TSF)

      • Add FSG and SOP to Pivot 88

      • Support PQA/Qima and SGT with Zoom meetings for FSG and SOP in different countries, such as India, Cambodia, Pakistan, Vietnam, China, or any other country that might have business migration.

      • Track all the VOCs under 4-star rate and implement improvement to the next FSG.

      • Support the Director of Footwear Design on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Plans (CAP) with factory in case of any quality problem.

      • Technical visit to production in any location that the Director of Footwear Design requires.

      Who You Are

      • Thorough understanding of footwear protocols with a minimum 5 years of experience in Footwear production

      • Communication skills: good at English; knowledge of Chinese is a plus

      • Able to understand the Brand designers and concept designers effectively.

      • Good at MS Office (PPT, Outlook, Zoom, etc.)

      • Ability to create reports, provide analysis and recommendations to improve quality.

      • Strong risk management and trouble shooting skills.

      • Ability to influence all levels of factory management.

      • Ability to supervise and training 3rd part audit auditors.

      • Factory Audits/Factory Process Validation

      • Development factory operations experience.

      • Strong technical knowledge of:

      • Paper Pattern

      • Last measurement

      • Molds and fitment with existent last (knowledge to play with matching different sizes)

      • Fitting measurement of model

      • LA/PP sample approval.

      • Technical files (SOP)

      • Full size grading

      • VOC’s follow up.
