What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Work independently and take a lead role on projects with minimal supervision
- Serve as a go-to resource for questions related to database systems
- Identify database performance and capacity requirements by analyzing current workloads
- Monitor and troubleshoot database instances, performing root-cause analysis
- Participate in production support on-call rotation to resolve critical issues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to develop and grow interpersonal relationships within and across teams
- Expert knowledge of common database administration tasks such as backup & restore and replication methods
- Experience automating SQL Server administration tasks and workflows at scale
- Firm understanding of Azure database technologies, including Azure SQL Database
- Fundamental knowledge of T-SQL code

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Azure Cosmos Db
- Familiarity with common tools utilized in the environment such as SQL Backup, Git, and ServiceNow
- Good to have DB2 skills
