  THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

  The General Accounting department is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to assist with the accounting close process while supporting internal and external reporting. Improve our ability to support the business and respond to the increasing demand for information. Take ownership of certain areas serving as a resource and expert for those related items. Assist with internal control compliance and the annual audit process.

  YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Actively participating in period, quarter, and year-end accounting close
  • Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and work-papers.
  • Collaborating with business partners to gather information supporting accruals and adjustments.
  • Analyzing accounting results, investigating variances, and documenting findings.
  • Supporting the financial reporting process and communication of results.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Providing support for budget and forecast preparation.
  • Performing other routine and non-routine functions as assigned by management.

  THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA required.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Retail or public accounting experience preferred.
  • Solid analytical skills and technical accounting knowledge
  • Understanding of financial processes and internal controls
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates leadership ability and potential.
  • Able to work independently, as well as with a group.
  • Dedicated and detail oriented.
  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word, SAP knowledge is a plus.
