      Staff Accountant | Largo, FL

      Job Description

      • Manage financial records for the company
      • Payroll processing for employees
      • Handle the accounting including billings, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
      • Posting transactions, allocations, handling general ledger and journal entries, adjusting journal entries, reconciliations
      • Preparing job cost reports
      • Compile financial statements
      • Manage month-end closings

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business preferred or Associate and experience in the field of Accounting
      • 3-5 years of accounting experience- construction experience a plus
      • Proficient with QuickBooks (desktop), and MS Office products
      • Familiar with payroll entries
      • Strong organizational skills
      • Must be self-directed and able to work independently, while also working well with others
      • Conscientiousness - Displays a high level of effort and commitment towards performing work and demonstrates responsible behavior.
      • Organization - highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize time management.
      • Interpersonal skills - Shows, courtesy, tact, empathy, cooperation, concern, and politeness to others and relates well to different people.
      • Precision in handling financial statements

      Work Site:

      This is a fully on-site position in Largo, Florida.
