- Perform integration for a Naval Platform Combat System with Anti Air Warfare domains including: missiles, RF sensors, weapon control air defense, threat identification & tracking, intercept of anti-ship missiles/threat aircraft.
- Support system level integration planning, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Software and Systems Engineers to integrate multiple interconnected subsystems, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system level issues that may stem from software or hardware anomalies.
- Provide direct support to stakeholders to answer questions and solve technical issues.
- Occasional travel will be required, approximately 10%.
- This role will be onsite, based out of Tewksbury, MA or Portsmouth, RI.
- Typically requires Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux operating system.
- Experience with software and/or integration and test with larger System of Systems.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience working on teams that use Agile Principles and Methodologies.
- Experience with Naval Shipboard Combat Systems.
- Proficient working with Atlassian tech stack (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience working with Jenkins or similar toolset.
- Experience working with GIT.
- Scrum Master experience.
- MATLAB experience.
- Experience working with the US Navy customer.

Raytheon’s Naval Systems department is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join the Zumwalt Baseline Management Integration & Test team. Integration and Test engineers are responsible for interconnecting subsystems, identifying and resolving system level issues that may stem from software or hardware anomalies, and developing automated or operator-driven tests in support of system-level requirements verification.
