What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support encounter data reporting processes, including tracking, reporting, and resolving rejections.
- Conduct gap analysis and data validation for claims and encounter data submissions.
- Provide technical support to enterprise clients regarding operational aspects of the products.
- Collaborate with development teams to assist in performance analysis and testing during release cycles.
- Deliver a consistent, responsive, and satisfying customer experience with each contact.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health IT, Informatics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Risk Adjustment data management.
- Understanding of claims data, encounter response files, and CMS Submissions Process.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with at least one non-Windows operating system (such as Linux, HPUX, AIX).
- Knowledge of EDI Standards such as X12, EDIFACT, HL7, NCPDP.
- Experience with ETL and Mapping.
- Prior knowledge of 837’s and CMS Risk Score methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Risk Adjustment methodologies is a plus.
