Position Summary: To deliver desired, sustainable business outcomes and assure the integrity and continuity of AutoZone systems. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of AutoZone's hardware, software and/or network sub-systems. This includes applying domain knowledge, using technical skills, mentoring less experienced AutoZoners, supporting the customers, resolving problems, and training as required. Key Responsibilities: This position is to provide DevOps Support and Engineering for AutoZone.com and related services. You will be involved in investigating, triaging production issues, project work, assisting with the build and release process for B2C all while driving automation adoption. Help the teams with creating and merging with multiple branches using GitLab as a source code management repository to keep track of version changes. Utilize Jenkins to set up CI for new branches, build automation, and plugin management, and securing Jenkins and setting up master/slave configurations. Maintain, update, and create the Build and Deployment automation solutions in scripting languages including Python, Shell, UNIX shell and PowerShell Setup Continuous Delivery pipeline using Ansible playbooks Participate in maintaining software applications and/or systems, Debug, roll out software and support any issue that arises in production (or) lower environments. Perform Site Reliability Engineering tasks ensuring applications are configured to run in dual data centers and optimized for performance and stability. Provide production Support troubleshooting, bug fix development, and enhancement development on the autozone.com eco-system. Install, configure, tune and support WebLogic Application Server and Apache Web Server. Assemble Oracle ATG modules with AutoZone.com custom modules. Drive automation by converting production support scripts to Jenkins or other tools. Leverage Dynatrace and other monitoring tools to add and improve AutoZone.com dashboards, alerts, and custom metrics. Assist the development teams to address any environmental issues reported. Performance tuning (improvement of system performance) and ensuring servers are onboarded to security patching to mitigate any vulnerability. Accurate work planning and execution; accurate project and time tracking Delegating work & mentor/coaching other Systems Engineers and Associate Systems Engineers Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field required Experience working in eCommerce Retail space and understanding of the B2C e-commerce business foundations Candidates must have at least 8+ years’ experience based on consistently demonstrated capabilities in UNIX/Linux, Java, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub, Chef, Ansible, Subversion, Ant, VMware, Puppet, SVN, GitHub, Vagrant, CVS, Tomcat, WebLogic Proficient with Shell, Python, Ruby, JSON, YAML, and Groovy scripting languages. Familiarity with ITIL processes – Incident, Problem and Change management (certification preferred but not required) Experience with Jenkins building workflows for CI/CD integrations Experience using JIRA for development fixes ticketing tracking and collaboration Proven experience with Database Technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra DB and Redis. Proven experience working in an Agile methodology Proven experience with using Jira, Dynatrace, SiteScope and Grafana for monitoring purposes and troubleshooting Familiarity with MS Teams or similar collaboration software product System estimation, planning and execution skills across multiple domains of expertiseAbout the company
