Job Description
- Req#: 60640
- Completes assigned work orders and related documentation in accordance with departmental procedure. Evaluates assigned trouble reports and takes appropriate action in accordance with departmental procedure.
- Performs equipment repair in accordance with manufacturer/departmental procedure. Troubleshoots and repairs phones and peripherals attached to phone system.
- Leads the installation and maintenance of new telephone closets. Leads the installation of new equipment/cabling. Performs scheduled evaluation and documentation of miscellaneous voice network/ telephone equipment as described in the Preventative Maintenance Manual.
- Maintains/evaluates inventory of miscellaneous telecommunications materials, back up equipment, and telephones in accordance with department procedure. Verifies trunking and other relevant reports.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate's / Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Two years technical experience: Preferred
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Voice: Preferred
- Dell certification: Preferred
- A+ certification: Preferred

We're looking for someone to join our team as a Sr. Telecom Technician who:
Leads the maintenance, repair and installation all voice network and ancillary telecommunications equipment. Installs new equipment and related cabling/wiring. Ensures all system operations are performing optimally, backups are current, and all documentation is completed per department policies.

The estimated base pay for this position is $25.76- $38.61. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
