Job Description

- Overall experience of 5-7 years in software testing
- Minimum 2 years experience in API testing (SoapUI/Requests-Python/RestAssured-Java)
- Hands-on experience in Python (preferred)
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance and development
- Should contribute to manual testing along with automation
- Good understanding of Project life cycle with Automation architecture
- Provide feedback by reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
- Develop well-structured and detailed test plans and cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Use open-source tools to design, develop, and execute automation scripts.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Track testing progress, proactively identify and escalate project risks.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for products that will meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Knowledgeable of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven experience in writing test plans and test cases.
- Working knowledge on VSTS is preferable
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing and automated testing tools.
- Good knowledge of SQL and exposure to QA automation tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Performance and/or security testing experience is a plus.
- Nice to have exposure to testing application deployed in public cloud
