What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assume profit and loss responsibility for a book of business within the territory
- Develop and execute a marketing plan to attract new business
- Perform underwriting functions, including financial analysis and industry analysis
- Adhere to underwriting guidelines and authority limits
- Serve as a resource on underwriting and territory issues to other team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in a similar field or position
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate findings and recommendations effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet objectives
