      Overview

      Cotiviti is seeking a User Experience Designer to be a part of the Experience Design Group. The UX Designer will work as part of a small team on the next generation of products, tools, and platform for Healthcare IT products. The ideal candidate is an individual with leadership qualities who is creative, adaptive and can solve complex design problems and create user-centric experiences. At the core of this job the candidate will work on features end-to-end translating functional requirements, user needs and technical constraints into designs that are effective, easy to use and engaging - shaping the future of our brand.

      Responsibilities

      • Design user-centric interfaces that enhance the user experience and reflect our brand identity.
      • Proactively collaborate across functions and time zones.
      • Define key problems to solve for feature areas.
      • Interpret and apply relevant user data from existing sources critical to feature area.
      • Apply and contribute to design language systems.
      • Create multiple innovative design solutions for feature areas.
      • Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and team members.
      • Take ownership of feature areas and continuously iterate and refine designs based on feedback, best practices, and design trends.
      • Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs. Champion user-centric design and customer centricity throughout all product phases and across the organization.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in a relevant field (HCI, graphic, or interactive design).
      • 5+ Years of UX/UI design experience and desire to learn.
      • A strong design portfolio demonstrating proven experience in UX/UI design, a thorough understanding of good design process, and a clean design aesthetic is required. DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT A PORTFOLIO.
      • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive and appealing user interfaces.
      • Ability to identify and define the “right” problem to solve from a set of diverse data.
      • Ability to recognize and predict use cases and user interaction, including happy path, edge, and corner cases, and incorporate them into designs.
      • Experience driving projects from concept to conclusion; working independently, managing multiple tasks, and setting priorities with direction or feedback from management and teammates.
      • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be willing and able to proactively reach out to stakeholders and team members for collaboration and support.
      • Demonstrable understanding of modern software development processes and concerns as they relate to design.
      • Expertise with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.

      • Ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines.
      • Demonstrates exceptional customer service and follow-up skills.
      • Ability to negotiate and collaborate.

      Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

      • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
      • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
      • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
      • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.

      Base compensation ranges from is $114,000 to $168,000 per year . Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
