  · Role: Sr.Java Developer

  · Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

  Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for “Sr.Java Developer @ Atlanta, GA (Onsite)” to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role.   Responsibilities:

  · Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring boot, Microservices & Oracle. Experience in Dockers / containers.

  · Actively contribute and participate in design and architecture discussions daily stand-ups and Agile Sprint planning sessions.

  · Design and develop high-volume low-latency applications for critical systems delivering high-availability and performance.

  · Write well designed testable efficient code and ensure that the designs comply with specifications.

  · Knowledge and experience adhering to software development life cycle best practices unit testing subject area agile development and CI/CD strategies.

  · Should be able to optimize & effectively manage resources and time of the team members.

  · Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT

  · Should be able to identify track and mitigate risks to the product/application.

  · Excellent organization skills attention to detail and ability to multi – task

  · Promotes continuous process improvement especially in code quality test ability & reliability.

  · Payments experience will be desirable (Zelle, RTP etc.) .

  Must Have Skills:

  · JAVA FSE with above 8+ years

  · Hands on experience in JAVA 8, 11, Spring boot, Microservices, SQL

  · Minimum 1+ years of experience in OpenShift

  · Good knowledge on Kubernetes, Docker, AWS is an added advantage.

  · BFS payment experience – Zelle/RTP associates are preferred.

  Salary and Other Compensation:

  The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

  This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
