      We are currently looking for a Regional Carflow Senior Planner to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

      This role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the flow of vehicles within the designated region. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, collaboration with regional general managers (RGMs), sales operations, and serving as a backup to the Carflow Manager. Your focus will be on enhancing sales volumes, understanding market dynamics, and ensuring a balanced allocation to maximize sales throughput. Success in this role relies on strategic planning, collaborative efforts with key stakeholders, and a keen understanding of market dynamics

      Job functions Include but are not limited to:

      • Oversee the model and dealer sales volume planning within regions and support alignment with National Plan.

      • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize the flow of vehicles, ensuring alignment with market demands and sales objectives.

      • Work closely with Regional General Managers to gain insights into regional market dynamics.

      • Collaborate on strategies to enhance carflow efficiency and address market-specific needs.

      • Partner with sales operations to encourage and implement a balanced allocation strategy.

      • Collaborate on planning initiatives aimed at maximizing sales throughput while maintaining equilibrium in the allocation process.

      • Serve as a backup to the Carflow Manager, stepping in when necessary to ensure seamless operations and continuity in carflow management.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Experience: Previous experience in automotive sales planning, carflow management, or related roles. Proficiency in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is an asset.

      • Excel Proficiency: A strong level of proficiency in Excel is essential for data analysis, modeling, and reporting. Knowledge of advanced Excel functions and data manipulation is required.

      • Tableau Knowledge: Familiarity with Tableau is an asset, enabling enhanced data visualization and analysis for strategic decision-making.

      • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to make informed decisions, with an added advantage of VBA expertise for automation and process improvement.

      • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and RGMs.

      • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with sales objectives.

      • Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing market conditions and swiftly adjust carflow strategies accordingly.

      Education:

      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

      • Minimum of 6 to 8+ years of experience in automotive sales planning or related roles, combined with advanced skills in Excel and VBA, will be instrumental in successfully optimizing carflow and sales planning within the designated region.

      Working Conditions:

      Although this position has some exposure to adverse working conditions (i.e. tied to the phone and daily schedule, glare, monotonous and repetitive tasks and multiple and/or conflicting deadlines) the exposure is generally considered minimal. The work environment is safe and no precautions are necessary.
