- Prepare all general ledger journal entries related to fixed assets, operating leases, and capital leases for all centers.
- Manage fixed asset lifecycle, including:
- Identification and classification of fixed assets
- Entry of assets in the fixed asset system
- Research and processing of asset additions, disposals, transfers, and modifications
- Analyze, explain, and report significant fluctuations in depreciation or lease expenses to management
- Reconcile fixed asset cost and accumulated depreciation accounts to depreciation schedule
- Conduct Income statement trend analysis and prepare commentary for review of center’s financial reports
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified through asset and lease reconciliations
- Identify and recommend improvements to process or control issues surrounding asset management and lease accounting
- Monthly analysis of asset and lease balance sheet accounts across all centers
- Perform quarterly analysis of construction in progress (CIP) across all centers
- Analyze lease agreements for accounting implications and ensure proper recording
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives within the Center of Excellence (COE)
- Support special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
- Regular and reliable attendance required
- A successful candidate will pass a background check and drug screen.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an Accredited College or University.
- Public accounting or industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Healthcare experience is also a plus.

Summary:Teammates primarily work from home but go to the office 1-2 times a month. This entry level accounting position is responsible for the accounting and financial functions related to fixed assets and leases across all ambulatory surgery centers. Duties include oversight of daily asset review activity, monthly financial reporting, asset management, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and work paper presentation. This position may also provide the opportunity to participate in various special projects, financial analysis, and process improvement efforts.

Paid Time Off:
