- Demonstrates in depth knowledge of accounting principles
- Responsible for balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Assist in the month-end close process, including journal entry preparations
- Responsible for management of fixed assets, including entering fixed assets to the subledger, posting entries and reconciliation
- Review corporate overhead spending for coding accuracy including follow up, reconciling and resolving discrepancies
- Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Manage key relationships internally to provide different viewpoints for a shared solution
- Partner with leadership to optimize use of technology to drive efficiencies
- Perform special projects, other ad-hoc duties, as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 1-3 years’ experience
- Experience with full-cycle accrual accounting utilizing a subledger/general ledger accounting system
- Partnering with management by providing analysis from close processes
- Be able to demonstrate strong commitment to confidentiality and handling of sensitive company information
- Manage key relationships internally to provide different viewpoints for a shared solution
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently
- Ability to identify and implement best practices, think strategically, plan for the long-term success of the organization and effectively delegate tasks
- Have strong attention to detail, processes a proactive approach to problem solving and task execution.
