- Responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations (external/internal) and acts as a mentor to employees in order to provide superior customer service.
- Gathers and examines source information to verify balance sheets (bank accounts, cash, inventory, etc.) in order to reconcile all accounts and produce monthly summary statements.
- Assists internal, contracted, and regulatory auditors in their examination of accounting records to ensure that auditors receive adequate information and interpretation for effective inspection of Penn Entertainment Inc.’s records.
- Prepares recurring journal entries and adjusts exceptional case entries to ensure the most appropriate representation of data on the general ledger to provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Reviews, analyzes, and adjusts financial statements of departments in order to ensure their accuracy.Assists managers in the interpretation of departmental financial statements to ensure that adequate and accurate information is provided to promote understanding of the financial statements.Assists managers in the interpretation of departmental financial statements to ensure that adequate and accurate information is provided to promote understanding of the financial statements.

- Participates in weekly/monthly Warehouse and F&B inventory counts.
- Remains aware of and enforces applicable accounting policy, procedures, and rules law/regulations.
- Formulates/implements(or recommend such) policy, procedures and rules.
