      The following position facilitates the Accounts Payable functions in accordance with the Bank’s Accounts Payable policy. This includes processing invoices and employee expense reports and remitting them for payment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

      MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Process and code invoices as well as expense reimbursement forms to ensure that general ledger accounts and cost centers are correctly coded for all invoices and that they are accurate and complete.

      • Processing payments via check and ACH.
      • Gather vendor information for set up in Oracle and W-9 for proper tax reporting.
      • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
      • Maintain vendor files.
      • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
      • Assist with month end closing and accruals.
      • Provide supporting documentation to internal/external auditors.
      • Assisting with department responsibilities and projects.

      PROBLEM SOLVING & DECISION MAKING:

      Job requires working with business lines and making decisions related to proper classification of invoices and assisting with solving accounting issues.

      Education and Experience

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience

      Skills/Knowledge

      • Detail oriented, understanding of accounts payable cycle, accrual accounting, Sales & Use Tax, good communication skills and well organized.
