Job Description
- Req#: 591428
- Approving and verifying transactions in various financial systems by reviewing the routine transactions for proper center and account coding.
- Accumulating, analyzing and summarizing routine, detailed data in order to prepare financial routine statistical and financial reports and schedules.
- Analyzing financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected financial position.
- Assisting with internal audit functions, maintaining and reviewing of cost centers and appropriations to verify accuracy and to make appropriate recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or related field and at least one-year related experience. Healthcare accounting experience preferred. OR
- Associate degree in Finance/Accounting or related field with a minimum of three years of related experience. Healthcare accounting experience preferred. OR
- Equivalent combination of education with at least two years of applicable experience in a health care environment. Healthcare accounting experience preferred.
- AA with experience will be considered.
- Experience in Microsoft apps, Sage Intacct or Acct Software, Previous multi entity environment strongly preferred.
- Ability to multitask, remain focused and stay organized.

As a Staff Accountant, you will perform professional work requiring basic application and use of concepts, theories, practices and terminology of accounting. An employee in this position will process various financial documents and data, analyzing this data and preparing internal financial reports.
