- Prepare and maintain PSERS reporting.
- Review payroll and maintain control numbers.
- Process employee change of status/life event tasks.
- Maintain pay, deduction, and benefit codes in ERP.
- Prepare and process quarterly payroll reporting and tax payments.
- Review W2 processing.
- Prepare reports needed for GASB reporting.
- Responsible for fulfilling day to day backup operations in payroll.
- Responsible for all aspects of coordinating the School-Based ACCESS Program (SBAP).
- Responsible for Medicaid reporting
- Assist the intermediate unit with Medicaid Billing System.
- Prepare and enter journal entries, requisitions, and payables as needed.
- Monitor payroll and medical access email boxes.
- Performs other such duties as required and/or assigned by the Controller and/or Chief Financial Officer.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field or a minimum of (3) three years in relevant experience.
- Ability to weigh options, think clearly, and evaluate accurately. Must be cooperative, congenial, and service oriented.
- Must be courteous and able to deal effectively with people.
- Ability to make decisions with sound judgment.
- Must be able to concentrate with numerous interruptions.
- Must be persuasive, alert, creative and have patience, initiative, and reasoning.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication with finance and non-finance personnel.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Experience with enterprise solution software.
- Well-developed problem-solving and decision making skills.

Position Summary: An integral part of the accounting and finance team, this position will contribute to the overall structure of the department and the processes to which the department will adhere.

Position Schedule: Monday - Friday. 12 months (260-262 days), 8 AM - 4 PM
Compensation: $23.07-$25.45/hour based on experience plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance, as well as paid holidays, paid time off and a tuition reimbursement program.
External applicants must submit Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release form; have current Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 clearances (dated within 1 year of start date); as well as a current health record and tuberculosis test to be eligible to start employment.
