- Perform and support month-end activities, including closing sub-ledgers, preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and conducting balance sheet account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare month-end flux analysis for all profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet accounts, identifying key fluctuations and providing insights to stakeholders on the reasons behind these changes.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, proactively identifying discrepancies and taking necessary corrective actions.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and final reconciliations.
- Assist with audit processes, providing documentation and working closely with auditors to resolve queries for smooth audit completion.
- Ensure financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are properly documented, implemented, and continuously improved for efficiency.
- Participate in new business and system launches, including user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate accounting entries and financial reporting accuracy.
- Approach new challenges with a hands-on attitude, demonstrating a willingness to learn and take on evolving responsibilities as the organization grows.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in accounting OR recent graduate with advanced coursework and internship experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Active CPA preferred but not required.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, ensuring accuracy in financial processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and internal controls (preferred but not required).
- Eagerness to learn and grow, demonstrating adaptability and initiative in problem-solving.
