Job Description

You will be the Navigation Systems Engineer supporting the Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) team. Our team is responsible for supporting requirements generation, design, hardware and software integration, qualification, verification, and validation of Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) algorithms.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Navigation Systems Engineer you will be responsible the design, implementation, and testing of navigation systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding of hardware and software aspects of navigation and solving complex problems that span flight controls and mission systems.
- Developing and implementing navigation algorithms.
- Documenting designs and completing performance verification.
- Providing lab support to include creating test procedures, testing navigation hardware and software, and creating test reports.
- Coding in Matlab and generating C code.
- Supporting flight test.

A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Work Schedule Information

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
